IWU BSN Graduation Requirements


The IWU BSN program is a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. IWU's nursing education graduation requirements require that you have all the necessary courses for a Bachelor's degree. The BSN core program is your degree major.

A total of 124 semester credits are required to meet IWU's BSN graduation requirements.

To meet the general requirements for IWU's Bachelor of Science degree you must earn 30 credits in Liberal Arts including:
  • 3 credits in Philosophy/Religion
  • 3 credits in Biblical Literature
  • 6 credits English/Composition
  • 6 credits Social Science
  • 3 credits Math/Science
  • 3 credits Fine Arts/Foreign Language
  • 6 credits General Education Electives
To meet the requirements for IWU's BSN major you must meet three criteria:
  • Completion of the major core curriculum
  • Minimum grade of "C" or better
  • Payment of all tuition and fees
