Program Accreditation

While there are many online programs to choose from, IWU's Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing is one of the few backed by a university of such high standing. Founded in 1920, Indiana Wesleyan University has a hallmark nursing degree program, and that same program is available to you through its distance learning school.

Indiana Wesleyan is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, www.ncahlc.org; 312-263-0456. The degree and certificate programs offered through the Indiana Wesleyan University School of Nursing are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), 202-887-6791. IWU is also a member of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties, and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.
