Application Fee
A one-time, non-refundable U.S. $25.00 application fee is required. In an effort to provide better service to those who desire to use credit cards, the University has installed a secure server to encrypt credit card numbers during transmission. Although we cannot guarantee the security of your credit card number, the encryption process is the current standard for web financial transactions. IWU accepts credit card transactions via fax, phone, mail, or this online service. The decision is yours to make. We're here to serve you.
Transcripts
Indiana Wesleyan University will accept for its permanent file only those transcripts mailed in a sealed envelope directly to Indiana Wesleyan University by the registrar of the applicant’s baccalaureate degree-granting institution. If the applicant completed less than 30 credit hours at his or her baccalaureate degree-granting institution, all previous transcripts will be required. Official transcripts must exhibit the official seal and signature of the registrar. Transcripts that are stamped "student copy," "issued to student," or "unofficial" cannot be accepted as official. Click here to download a copy of the transcript request form.
Recommendation Forms
Applicants are required to submit three recommendation forms from persons familiar with your scholarship, character, and leadership. One recommendation should be from a former instructor (scholarship), one from a pastor or someone with whom you have worked in the past year who can attest to your service record or character (character), and one from a direct supervisor (leadership). You must use the forms provided. Click here to download a copy of the recommendation form.
